Recommended by a foreign 'local', we came to eat here. We were not disappointed. We shared the fresh fried anchovies as a starter. The touch of oregano was a perfect touch. Delicious. I felt like moussaka. It wasn't freshly cooked, but it was tasty. My husband had a shrimp pasta. It was superb. The pasta and sauce were excellent, and the solid and good size shrimp were excellent. We saw the Zorba restaurant nestled on the corner of a road junction on our way walking up to the castle. It looked soooo Greek. So for dinner it was our natural choice. Great atmosphere

Zorbas was a beautiful beach side restaurant that we visited on evening in March 2024. They were very friendly and provided perfect service. We had souvlaki and a Greek salad with some stuffed grape leaves. It was absolutely delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed yourself. Great food and good value for money. Very nice traditional greek taverna. I serves good food at a resonable price. We ate here 4 times during our 6 day stay. Our hotel recommended them strongly. We can recemmend the veal stew, the lamp chops, the spaghetti carbonarra, the zuchini balls and much more.
Very nice tables and a beautifull figg tree for shadow. This is not a waterfront restaurant but from some of the tables you can see the water. If you like a less busy envirronment this is a good choice.
Only downturns are…
We had shrimps 2 days. The first day they tasted absolutely delicious so we went back the next day and ordered a double portion. They had bought new bigger sized shrimps. They tasted really bad. The quality of the shrimp was bad and had a dry “floury”/ stale taste to them.
We would have wanted to try the ovenbaked lamb, and for that reason we returned on a saturday. According to the staff they would serve the ovenbaked lamb on that specific day. When we arrived they didn’t serve it. So that was a huge dissappointment.
But anyway… a good choice if you want to eat in Paralio Astros.

Lovely greek atmosphere with friendly owner! You won't see a seaside, but definitely will feel a cozy vibe with some local fresh fish tasting 👌

Nice dinner under a huge fig tree, in the shadow of the Astros castle.
Have been coming here for years. Always a good meal at a good price. I look forward to returning. . Back again in 2025 ,look forward to next year.

Very friendly service with the best sea food around!
I was there with my girlfriend in August and the food was really good. Prices are good and waiters were friendly. We had pasta with prawns, French fries with tzatziki and Greek salad. Everything was really good and olives in Greek salad were one of the most delicious in my life:) Really recommend for a dinner.
This was an amazing place to eat As Canadian, we were taken aback how late people eat, and how late children are up. As Canadian, we were taken aback how late people eat, and how late children are up. Most places here in Astor are not open at all before 8 pm and children up very late. But ok.. Not my place to say, our culture is different in Canada. What I can say.. is this place was amazing. Owner greated us party of 6 with two little ones under 3 years. Fantastic food, service & atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and very polite! Traditional Greek tavern, it's a must! Well done!

Great place to to be amongst the locals watching people take their evening walks deciding where to stop and eat the food here was very good and their wine was good as well 👍
